Russian President Vladimir Putin Gives Statement Following Security Council Meeting On Recognizing The Donbass (Live)

WNU Editor: In a live broadcast Russian President Putin is making the case to the Russian people on why the Russian government has decided to recognize the independence of Luhansk And Donetz.

A very hard core speech, and done without a teleprompter or prepared statement.

Update: The speech lasted 55 minutes, and it is now ending with a signing ceremony between the Russian President and the leaders of these two break-away Republics.

Update #2:  I am reflecting on the speech. This was both an emotional and fiery speech.

He has gone ahead with Russia now recognizing the two break-away republics, and he is telling the world that his next move will be dependent on how Ukraine and the West respond.

I have a very bad feeling on where this is heading.

So Putin was kind. He gave a fig leaf to cover up the wrinkled unmentionables of the Emperor with No Clothes.
So Russian tanks will move into the "independent Republics". The old men and women of NATO will be relieved that they do not have to go kinetic. Kamala will unleash the unprecedented sanctions, which will be as effective as an unwanted wet fart.

Secretly the old men and women are smiling on the inside. they will retire to their mansions at the end of the day and in some inner room they will light a candle to Putin at their shrine. Putin bequeathed them with yet another opportunity to centralize power over the little people.
