The Ukrainian president hasn’t made a final decision on the visit as Washington worries Russian President Vladimir Putin could exploit his absence.

WASHINGTON — The Biden administration is concerned about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s plans to leave his country this weekend to attend the Munich Security Conference, where he’s scheduled to meet in person with Vice President Kamala Harris, according to four people familiar with the matter.

WNU Editor: For a Russian invasion that is about to happen, at least according to U.S. officials, it is odd that the Ukraine President has made the decision to leave the country.

A Russian pipeline blew up.

Since the Russians will not route oil and gas through Ukraine in the future, the pipeline was expendable and useful.

The Russians are ramping up the stress on Ukraine. The purpose is to break Ukraine much as increasing stress will break a sample in a strain gage. At some point the the stress is so great that the elongation is permanent.

The beauty of it is that the sample or country fails, but there is no actual demarcation between wear and peace.

It is more beautiful in that Biden will campaign as a tough leader, while not permanently ameliorating the situation in Ukraine. Nor will he cease waging war at home like FDR did in WW2.
