The targets on specific Russian individuals comes as part of what the administration is calling a 'first tranche' of sanctions in response to Putin declaring two parts of Ukraine as independent republics.

I have stated before that sanction to be effective should be liker an impulse. Not like impulse buying, but an impulse like in physics.

Sanctions should be like a blitzkrieg or the artillery barrage for a Soviet style deep battle. They should not ratcheted up like sending troops into battle in penny packets. That is how you lose.

If you ramp up or ratchet up sanctions over time the Russians and Chinese can figure out how to get around or survive them, They adapt.

But our selected leaders are crap. Take this for instance:

"diplomatic path “is still opening, although – open, although it is absolutely narrowing – but within the context of a diplomatic path still being open, the deterrence effect, we believe, has merit.”" Kamala

"still opening" - Still opening means getting wider, more open.

"absolutely narrowing" - Narrowing means getting less wider or closing.

Kamala contradicted herself in the same sentence or the same thought. Biden is the one with the physical brain deterioration causing cognitive decline.

How did Kamala ever get through law school? On her knees?
