Wow, who in gods name would want to command anythng in the Navy at this point. Nimitz and Halsey both had major issues prior to WW2. Thank god the Navy recognized talent back then.

This"WOKE NAVY" will not wake up until 7th fleet ends up at the bottom of the Pacific just like their predescessors, the WW2 Asiatic Fleet, 90% sunk by the time Japan was stopped at Coral Sea.

CDR Lengkeek has served in the Seabees since before 2016. No doubt he has been the G3 (operations) and an XO of a Seabee battalion before being a CO. So he knows or should know the ropes. You can be a XO for a type of unit and still fail as CO. It happens. If you fail for professional incompetence, it would happen during an exercise. If you know the units schedule, then you could ascertain with some confidence, if it was due to professional incompetence during an exercise.

If the unit has been sitting in Virginia beach for the last month or two months, then I would guess they did not handle a problem like sexual harassment or something properly or with alacrity. Especially is the the senior enlisted guy was canned also.

Yep. Had to be the utterance of incorrect pronouns, social/political wrongthink and/or general white male toxicity.
