Any country supporting Taiwan militarily would face the "worst consequences," China's government warned Saturday, adding that "no one and no force" would be able to stop the Communist Party if it took action against the island country, according to a report.
China’s relationship with Taiwan has come into focus against the backdrop of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, with the island bolstering its own defenses since the war started in case of aggression from the mainland.
Taiwan said it planned to double its yearly missile-production capacity this year. The announcement from the defense ministry came after Taiwan approved an extra $8.6 billion for military spending over the next five years.

They're observing the headaches caused by Western supplied anti-tank and other weapons flooding into Ukraine. I say headache because contrary to daily popular social media posts I don't think it's anywhere near enough to somehow reverse Russian advances. However, it certainly makes it more painful and the Chinese are likely imaging the same but worse if there are thousands of shoulder fired anti-tank and anti-air weapons and drones small enough that they don't require an airfield to launch.
I'll add that these weapons would be especially nasty for China because they would be trying for a permanent occupation. In that case, these weapons wouldn't be slowing an invasion with limited objectives but bleeding out an occupying force through probably years of insurgency.
Why do you assume there would be years of insurgency?
Why don't you assume they cannot simply kill 23 million people?

Judging how good Putind miitary is I suspect Chin's group of GEN Z 'warriors' is worse.
Make our relationship with China somewhat contingent on how they deal not only with Russia, but with Taiwan and the S China Sea as well. THEN BACK IT UP.
How about we don't nuke our biggest trading partner for the cause of some shitty police state island across the world.
