Many Viral Russia - Ukraine War Videos Flooding Social Media Are Fake

Antiwar.com: Many Viral TikTok Videos of Ukraine War Are Fake

Noted YouTube “scambuster” Kitboga (2.2 million subscribers) has posted the video below showing many examples of viral TikTok videos purporting to be scenes of war in Ukraine. These videos are mostly clips from video games or from other wars. Many of these posts are being used to raise money for fake charities.

Kit explains the various scams that are being used to raise money on TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.

WNU Editor: The above report from Canadian YouTuber 'True North' breaks down the many viral videos that are fake. Her take on how the main stream media in Canada is covering the war is spot on.

I try my best to not post these social media videos. When it comes to posting videos I try to use reports from main stream combat media journalists with experience and who are on the ground personally witnessing combat and/or military strikes.

I do not post videos from official Russian media sources, nor from official Ukraine media sources. There is a full propaganda war at play right now, and none of their stories should be trusted.

So who can be trusted?

As someone who aggregates the news and tries to male sense out of it all .... it is never easy.

I try my best, and I use my many years of experience in covering wars and conflicts to present a picture of what is happening, and if proven wrong later, to point it out and go on to the next breaking story.

US/Canadian leaders need to project an image of hope/victory so that their electorate don't question why they are dumping weapons into a lost cause just to ensure Russia pays it's toll in blood, like in Syria. Little thought is given to the extra Ukrainian blood that will be spilled because of it.

MSM addicts will pop up here to call me a spineless Russian but will provide no insight into how victory could be attained without direct US intervention. And then in 3 weeks time they'll be back to hating the people peddling them lies because of critical race theory or some other relatively trivial cause.
