President Joe Biden on Monday tried to clarify his comments about not allowing President Vladimir Putin to stay in power, insisting he was expressing his outrage at the Russian leader's brutality in Ukraine rather that unveiling a new U.S. policy.
The U.S. president alarmed allies and partners on Saturday when he said at the end of a speech in Warsaw: 'For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power.'
The White House quickly tried to walk back the comments, saying the president meant Putin could not continue to wield power over neighbors.

Three more years of this clown show? Biden and Harris should just resign after the midterms. By order of succession the Speaker of the House is next in line after the Veep. 2022 should see a Repub as Speaker (McCarthy). Then we can begin the clean up.

I don't think it is mental degradation. Not totally anyway. I think he is trying to exert his independence. One way is to speak his mind before the press. You know they do not listen to him in conference rooms. Sure they pretend he is the boss and they are properly deferential per protocol, but is all an act.
Joe Biden has uttered too many time over a year that he would get in trouble, if he answered the press's questions. Sure Alheimers is going to kill him in 7 or 8 years, but is does not mean that like any other debilitating disease that there are not rallies. After all we have the term sundowner effect. That implies that the hours before it that a person has better hours.
My other theory is his staff are trying to create ambiguity. He says something wrong and they will walk it back and let the public and others surmise it was just due to senility and Alzheimers. It is using a disease that cannot be politically acted on, but which is generally acknowledge, for plausible deniability. Judging from WNU's writings, the Russkis are having none of it. But the WH staff think they are clever.
Just remember Brazil is safest from fallout given likely targets and wind patterns. It also has a good track record vis-a-vis Hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes.
Well, if Trump did all what Biden did, all the media would strongly call for resign because mental confusion. The double standard is obvious.
