Russian Government Says Relations With The U.S. "On The Brink Of Collapse"

RT: US-Russia ties ‘on the brink’ – Moscow

Russia’s foreign ministry handed the US ambassador in Moscow a note of protest over Joe Biden’s “unacceptable” remarks about Putin

The "unacceptable" remarks of the US President Joe Biden about his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have left the bilateral relations between the countries "on the brink of collapse," Russia's Foreign Ministry has said.

The ministry was referring to comments made last week by Biden calling Putin a “war criminal,” a “murderous dictator” and “a pure thug” in response to Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine.

On Monday, the US Ambassador in Moscow John Sullivan was summoned to the foreign ministry there, and “was handed a note of protest” over Biden’s “unacceptable” statements. Such statements by the US president are “unworthy of a statesman of such a high rank” and have brought US-Russia relations to “the brink of collapse,” the ministry said in a statement on Monday.

I'm surprised they say it's only on the brink.

Let's face it. Putin is a dick, but man look at the US.

Wendy Sherman? She is 72. Don't these guys ever retire or do they look at the world like it was a real life Sims game?

WNU made an observation that the US leadership is, where the Soviets were in 1980, when Yuri Andropov was General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Victoria Nuland is long in the tooth also.

Joe is ancient and demented.

The silver lining is supposed to be the young 'uns. Kamala cannot bone up on white papers or read a script. Joe does much better reading a script than Kamala. Think about that for a minute. Jake Sullivan is a pencil necked geek of no talent.

DC point out the billionaires of the Kremlin kleptocracy ... and? DC is taking notes. They are just further down on the escalator on the road to kleptocracy and they want us all to get worked up over Roman Romanov?

Seems pretty clear that the permanent washington establishment has no intentions of allowing a Trump or a Bernie type of candidate ever again. It's going to be members of the club here on out until the ship sinks, so what is there to talk about aside from a de-escalation hotline? Neither side will ever want to work with the other in good faith.
