Top US General In The Middle East Warns Iran Has 3,000 Ballistic Missiles That Can Hit Israel

 

Daily Mail: Top general in the Middle East warns Iran has 3,000 ballistic missiles that can hit Israel, confirms US will sell F-15 fighter jets to Egypt, and says there is only a 'trickle' of Syrians heading to fight for Russia 

* Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, Centcom chief, appeared before senators on Tuesday 

* He said Iran has 3,000 ballistic missiles, some of which could reach Tel Aviv 

* Iran is the biggest threat to day-to-day stability in the Middle East, he added 

* And he said few Syrians had taken up Russia's appeal for fighters in Ukraine 

* There are 'very small groups of people that may be trying' to reach Ukraine 

The top U.S. general in the Middle East on Tuesday said that Iran remained the greatest threat to the region and that it had 3,000 ballistic missiles, some of which could reach as far as Israel's Mediterranean city of Tel Aviv. 

Appearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen Kenneth McKenzie laid out the biggest challenges in the region and said only a handful of fighters appeared to have taken up Russia's call for Syrians to fight in Ukraine. 

But he said Iran represented the biggest day-to-day danger to regional security and would become much more dangerous if it were able to acquire nuclear arms.
