U.S. Navy Osprey Aircraft Crashes Into A Bay In Virginia

* Two soldiers have been rescued after a Navy plane crashed off the Virginia coast on Wednesday night 

* One soldier was said to have been killed following the Navy V-22 Osprey crash 

* The plane crashed north of the Chincoteague Causeway just off of Wildcat Point near the Maryland state line shortly after 7:30pm on Wednesday evening 

* The Virginia Coast Guard dispatched rescue boats and a rescue helicopter together with a police helicopter from Maryland 

One solder has been killed while two others have been rescued after a Navy plane crashed off the Virginia coast on Wednesday night. 

The V-22 Osprey aircraft crashed north of the Chincoteague Causeway just off Wildcat Point near the Maryland line shortly after 7:30pm Wednesday evening. Lt. Cmdr. Rob Myers, a public affairs officer with Naval Air Force Atlantic, said the plane was on a routine exercise when it went down.

This is the second deadly crash of an Osprey in two weeks. US combat training is at a fever pitch.

I'm sure these things fly all day every day but I still wouldn't be volunteering to ride in one any time soon.
