U.S. Officials Respond To Latest Russian Military Attacks In Ukraine

Yahoo News: Putin is 'lashing out,' U.S. adviser says of Western Ukraine missile strike

Russian President Vladimir Putin, "frustrated" by Ukraine's surprisingly stiff resistance, is increasingly escalating the scope of the war, U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan said Sunday.

Earlier in the day, Russia fired waves of missiles at a Ukrainian military base in Lyiv, which is near the Polish border and far from the frontlines of the war.

"This does not come as a surprise to the American intelligence and national security community," Sullivan said on CNN's "State of the Union.”

Sullivan and Kirby are two know liars.

Sullivan is too smarmy to know he is stupid.

Kirby is a guy, who barely got his SWO pin or found it so hard and an OOD had so much responsibility that he jumped ship to become a PAO. Kirby is a political creature.

On March 3, as Russian military forces bombed Ukrainian cities as part of Vladimir Putin’s illegal invasion of his neighbor, the Kremlin sent out talking points to state-friendly media outlets with a request: Use more Tucker Carlson.

“It is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts of the popular Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticizes the actions of the United States [and] NATO, their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine, [and] the defiantly provocative behavior from the leadership of the Western countries and NATO towards the Russian Federation and towards President Putin, personally,” advises the 12-page document written in Russian. It sums up Carlson’s position: “Russia is only protecting its interests and security.” The memo includes a quote from Carlson: “And how would the US behave if such a situation developed in neighboring Mexico or Canada?”

The document—titled “For Media and Commentators (recommendations for coverage of events as of 03.03)”—was produced, according to its metadata, at a Russian government agency called the Department of Information and Telecommunications Support, which is part of the Russian security apparatus. It was provided to Mother Jones by a contributor to a national Russian media outlet who asked not to be identified. The source said memos like this one have been regularly sent by Putin’s administration to media organizations during the war. Independent media outlets in Russia have been forced to shut down since the start of the conflict.

The March 3 document opens with top-line themes the Kremlin wanted Russian media to spread: The Russian invasion is “preventing the possibility of nuclear strikes on its territory”

From an American volunteer on the front lines outside of Kyiv:

"Sitting close to the frontline, the last safe mode of transportation leaves for greener pastures. A core group of about 30 foreign fighters remains out of around 200 people who were here just minutes ago..."

"The base we came from was struck by rockets in the early morning hours. People we lived with for a couple days are confirmed dead. It is only a matter of time before our location is targeted. We are about to be cut off by a Russian tank column any day now..."

"Food, water, and ammunition dwindle slowly. The mood is somber, people are sending their last messages to friends and family."

"Where is NATO? Where is the supposed good of western civilization?"

An important note: this American is a special ops veteran who completed combat deployments to Afghanistan. He came to Ukraine before Russia's full-scale war on Feb. 24. He is an experienced, well-trained soldier who gave up his lucrative career in the US in order to help Ukraine

Volunteering to go into a warzone isn't as fun when it's not against goat herders with no air force.

Congratulations to our boy Jake Sullivan on the 10 year anniversary of his famous email stating: "AQ is on our side in Syria."

May we celebrate another 10 years of awkward allies. Salut!

and 2:15 is a one who can only badmouth those who seem to disagree with whatever he believes, though since he never says anything nor posts anything he seems then to believe only in trying to call names of others. Grow up, moron.
tip: if you disagree with what gets said in what is put up, no matter the form or format, then grow the fuck up and give your position!
till such time: shut the fuck up and go home to mommy, who will change your diapers

On Russia, Trump's greatest Republican allies drastically misread the signs

Those so called goat herders were backed by the full faith and credit of Pakistan.

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar was not a goat herder. He had a degree in engineering.

2:37 / 2:40 Is it Fred?

It has Feddie smooth moves.

The people wearing diapers are Fred and Jake Sullivan.

Cultivating Russia as an ally might have led to no Ukrainian war and no war in Taiwan.

Here is a question. If Putin can bring the biolab accusation to the UN, why not before 2014 bring the Donbas language and culture problems to the UN?

He had far less and far older equipment than the javelin soaked Ukrainians.

What's your point in splitting this hair anyway?

It was a chain of tweets from an American who probably fought in the battles you're referencing who never experienced a single airstrike until this week. It's a little insight into the world of someone who drank the koolaid and rushed off for adventure and excitement only to find out that the constant stream of "we're winning!" propaganda being pumped out by our side should be consumed with a healthy dose of skepticism.

CatholicDragoon you are a sleeper or a troll. Civil war? Really? Your handle seemed a little off. Now, I know it is off.

Catholic Dragoon is is a fool for listening to Yarvin.

Yarvin's style is staccato. It makes it difficult to follow but easy to hypnotize the weak willed and unwary. Every sentence of his needs fact checking and logically analyzed.

If Ukraine and Russia is a civil War then so is whenever France and Germany fight or when England and Germany fight.

Make a few false premises and you can use the rules of logic 100% from then on and proudly announce it is so, butut will be a lie.

Ostraca comes to mind.

Militarily speaking it makes total sense that this staging post was attacked

He did literally every single year. Why are you acting so smarmy on a topic you couldn't even be bothered to spare a google search on?

These are simple facts. If a couple uncontroversial mainstream news articles constitute "propaganda" then I think you'll find we agree on at least one thing.

The bureaucrats at the top of both parties are selling our future away to defense contractors for a new cold war that didn't need to happen, because they don't give a shit about the working class. Stop being a footsoldier for those who want to destroy you.

Suck on your dick.

So more Javelins are being used than are being produced?

Great Britain was running out ships during WW2, but they did not stop fighting. They eventually found more. Fifty more in fact.

If Javelins runout, TOWS can be used, or maybe something British, French, German, Swedish or Israeli. Javelins are just the latest and greatest not the only system. Maybe we just throw nukes at the tanks.

Javelins are not a boondoggle. Much of the spending in the past two years above the budget has been. To be parsimonious about the Javelin spending marks you as a Russian or and idiot.

Oh surprise, surprise. Anonymous and...Anonymous accuse me of being some sort of troll, yet they are nameless.

I simply provided a link that showed a different perspective on this conflict, I did not attack anyone, I did insult anyone, and yet I have been attack, insulted and berated.

For this slight I challenge the nameless, faceless Feds to a duel.

No, what you did CatholicDeserter was just wrong. You could have done the follwoing.

* Listed the URL and say you do not agree, but it is a different POV.

* Listed the URL and say it bring up some good points

* Listed the URL and say you agree with some, but have problem with other points

* Listed the URL and say you agree with 67% (2/3rds), but you have issue with the rest, but due to the good points it is worth thought.

* You might have listed 2 or 3 good point or 2 or 3 bad points.

What are your other tricks? Leaving guns and drugs on public byways?

So all I get are more random insults? On top of that you keep accusing me being a sleeper.

Projection. Accusing your opponent of what you are guilty of.

To the nameless, faceless commenter, you are the sleeper. You are the globalist plant who LOVES taking it up the ass from a weak, limp blathering bureaucrat. The thought of being bitch slapped by an NGO director or a hedge fund manager excites you to no great end, leaving you aching for the boot of tyranny to press down harder on your throat.
