U.S. Officials Vows "Significant Reaction" If Russia Uses Chemical Or Biological Weapons In Ukraine

CBS News: Austin vows "significant reaction" if Russia uses chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine

Washington — Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin warned Sunday a chemical or biological weapons attack by Russia in Ukraine would prompt a "significant reaction" from the United States, as well as global allies and partners.

"If a chemical or biological weapon was used, you'd see a significant reaction from not only the United States, but also the global community," Austin said in an interview on "Face the Nation."

"I don't want to speculate about what exactly would change our calculation. I think engaging in hypotheticals is probably not helpful here either, but this is a very serious step and as you heard our president say, we won't take that lightly."

Oh wait, the US forgot that they used agent orange in Vietnam which today still causes human sufferings in Vietnam.

I can already hear Putin laughing imagining Biden making the right decision.

Agent Orange is a herbicide not a bioweapon. Agent Orange is not the problem. the problem is the side reactions which produced dioxin. If you or your papa were around back then, you knowledge of chemistry would not be such that you you would have any knowledge of dioxin. Neither did the chemists. If you were observed at a grocery, you would display actions that show you still do not have much knowledge of chemistry.

If they knew back in the 60s that dioxin was bad, Times Beach would not be a thing. Now go reply fucker. It is sunrise now over Moscow.

You mean an even more "significant reaction" than the bombing of civilians indiscriminately?

With zero backing from NATO the US will do nothing and NATO along with the rest of the EU need Russia waaaay more than Russia need them lesson learned??

Europe does not need Russia. Russia already temporarily shut down the Yamal pipeline and it did not merit much of a fuss.

Yeah sure. Obama said the same thing. Lefty is a coward. putin knows this.

We may not be able to afford, nor even find ice cream when lefty is done with us.

LOL. Russia knows that Biden and the democrats are desperate for the Iran deal so they'll do what they want. Can't take the US seriously when they say don't do business with Russia but continue to do so themselves.

Let’s start spraying the herbicide over your house and backyard.

I do spray herbicide in my yard every summer, but I do not spray my house with herbicide. The basic idea troll is to spray the heavy vegetation providing cover between villages. All of which would not be necessary if the North Vietnamese had not marched their army to South Vietnam through neutral counties.

Also I expect my herbicide to be purer and better formulated than stuff made 50 years ago That is what we have chem-E' for.

Anyone, literally anyone can make almost any chemical. How pure they can make it and how well they can manage side reactions is the key.

fuckheads here want trump to suck off putin

you take poppers don'cha

Uh oh. Time for another case of the currently winning side deciding to use chemical weapons, coincidentally while US officials signal to their proxies that using them is the only way to trigger heightened intervention on their behalf. Surely this doesn't foreshadow anything terrible for the average Ukrainian.

Uh oh, time for the side that is losing way more soldiers than it thought it would to staunch the attrition with chemical weapons.

When you lose 15% of your force in a battle it is considered a mistake regardless, if you win.
