Daily Mail: Biden says Putin will pay a 'severe price' if he uses chemical weapons and a conflict between NATO and Russia would be 'World War Three' as he bans imports of diamonds, caviar and vodka and stops the delivery of American luxury goods to Moscow 

* President Joe Biden announced on Friday he will revoke Russia's 'most favored nation' trade status over its invasion of Ukraine 

* Move being done in lockstep with G7 to increase financial pressure on Russia 

* Revoking the status would allow for increased tariffs on Russian imports as global leaders seek to punish Russia for its invasion of the Ukraine 

* 'The United States and our allies and partners continue to work in lockstep to ramp up the economic pressures on Putin and to further isolate Russia and the global stage,' Biden said 

* He also reitierated that American troops will not fight in the Ukraine 

 * Biden said that a 'direct confrontation between NATO and Russia is World War III– something we must strive to prevent' 

* Russian luxury goods will be banned, including diamonds, alcohol and seafood 

* Biden also banning American luxury goods from Russia, including high end-watches, luxury vehicles, high-end apparel, high-end alcohol, and jewelry 

President Joe Biden announced on Friday he will revoke Russia's 'most favored nation' trade status over its invasion of Ukraine and told Vladimir Putin he would pay a 'severe price' if he uses chemical weapons. 

The president added to his economic sanctions by banning imports of Russian alcohol, seafood and diamonds in a bid to wipe $1billion in revenue to Moscow and again insisted U.S. troops would not be sent to Ukraine because it could spark 'World War III'.
