Baltic States Have suspended Russian Gas Imports Over Ukraine Invasion

OilPrice.com: The Baltic States Stop Importing Russian Gas 

The three Baltic states—Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia—have suspended all purchases of Russian gas, government officials said. For now, the needs of the three tiny nations will be satisfied from storage in Latvia, UAWire reported this weekend. 

 "If there were still any doubts about whether there may be any trust in deliveries from Russia, current events clearly show us that there is no more trust," said the head of Latvia's gas storage operator, Uldis Bariss, as quoted by local media.

WNU Editor: The Baltic states are saying they are going to replace this natural gas from Russia with LNG imports from Norway and the U.S..

I think those states were true believers when President Trump explained in detail the dangers of relying on Russian energy. Over the past few years they invested in LNG terminals to take US nat gas, like Poland, and those terminals are now operating.
Germany didn’t take Trump’s words to heart, mocked him and insulted him, now they will have no choice but to bend the knee to Russia, it’s just a matter of time. I also believe Russian agit-prop will work on Russian agents and fellow travelers in Germany to stir up civil unrest in Germany as the shortages worsen.
