How Missiles And Drones Shape The Future Of The Military (Video)

WNU Editor: From CNBC ....

.... Missiles, drones, and mercenaries are changing global warfare.

Armed drones are growing in military importance as conflicts around the world have proven the utility of these effective tools of war. Companies in China, Turkey and Russia, among others, have developed advanced remotely piloted aircraft that can use guided weapons on and off the battlefield.

The widespread use of drones in Iraq and Afghanistan by the United States to target and kill insurgents jump started a new chapter in the history of conflict. These high flying and remotely piloted aircraft could engage targets with impunity while the operators work safely in a ground control station.

“At the moment, we’ve seen over 100 states worldwide using military drones and that number is growing significantly” said Wim Zwijnenburg, project leader, Humanitarian Disarmament at PAX. “We have over 20 states that are using armed drones in conflicts or outside of armed conflicts.”

China has a very large production capacity. They could ship more drones to Russia than the US and EU can ship to Russia. So why not?

(1)The Russians have not asked or cannot accept so many drones due to training, organization or doctrine

(2) China will not or cannot provide them.

"For some time now, China has presented itself as a rapidly ascending nation that is completely in charge of its destiny and one that escaped COVID with little harm. However, that appearance may be illusory and China may be more unstable than the image it promotes to the world." - Andrea Widburg.

The whole China lockdown has me unsettled and confused. Some people of the mind that it is an excuse to cull the herd of dissidents. There was an epidemic, but don't worry the government took care of it. Meanwhile government dissidents disappeared. funny how that happened. Almost like it was planned. Liberals are wanting to copy Chinese methods such as the social credit system and express their open admiration from Trudeau to Hollywood actors to others.

A lockdown in Hong Kong makes sense from a totalitarian point of view. But Shanghai? COVID is not a dangerous disease as far as diseases go. There is constant lying about vaccines, therapeutics and counts. There was recently an article in Real Clear Science on how some drugs act in the opposite way if you are over fat. Clearly obesity is a deadly epidemic and COVID not so much. But COVID is useful for herd shaping by the government.

I cannot get my head around why the CCP needs a lockdown, which will hurt the economy. I had thought they engaged in kabuki theater to get stupid Western governments to panic and follow suit, while engaging in a little ancillary dissident squashing.

Something is not right here.

"So why not?" While I don't "know" as I don't have access to inside information in real time, inferences cam be made based upon observation and experience.

I suspect the war is not going well for Ukraine. While the Zelensky/Ukraine cheering section in the "western" media has done an amazing shielding the populace from this, those who can't live in fantasy land are making decisions accordingly.

Essentially Russia doesn't need such assistance. Perhaps such assistance could end tue war faster but I don't think they want to be indebted to China. China would surely want something in return and since the assistance isn't needed the Russians aren't going to ask.

Clown: "I suspect the war is not going well for Ukraine."

We're on day 46 of the Russo-Ukraine war. Russia had multiple times the number of tanks, artillery tubes, helicopters, warplanes, warships and missiles than Ukraine. They attacked or had the potential to attack from all four sides. This makes it harder to defend, when you have to cover all bases.

For an operation that was to take 3 or 4 days to 2 or 3 weeks, when the attacker is still at it at week 7 and losing ground, I would say the attacker has major problems.

The Russian have had 7 or 8 days to transfer troops form Belarus to Donbas. There is now one 40 mile column spotted. I do not know what that means. There are pictures of it, so that should be bad for the Russians. The last large column in the news got shot up. One could estimate vehicle spacing and divide that into the column length to get an idea of the number of vehicles. Does the number of vehicles in a column matter if the Ukrainians cross the T? There is a reason why infantry during the times of Frederick the Great or Napoleon learned how to execute wheel left and right from marching in column.

Bobo: "China would surely want something in return and since the assistance isn't needed the Russians aren't going to ask."

If Russia Wins; NATO loses.

If NATO loses, China is much more likely to get its way in Taiwan sooner or at all.

Poster, here's one for you; ORYXSPIOENKOP.com. The Russian balloon has been deflated.

Very respectfully the "clown" and the "bobo" is you. The Ukraine/Zelensky cheering section isn't telling us about Ukrainian casualties in the war, Indian leadership recently rolled out the red carpet for Russian leadership, China and the leadership of about 55% of the leadership of earth's population haven't condemned Russia but seem to be moving in Russia's direction, the rouble and the Russian stock market seem to have recovered. Bottom line: whether we like it or not Russia is going to win the war. Those who don't and cannot live in fantasy land have already factored this on.

How severe will the blowback he towards those who supported Ukraine? Western Europe will tire Ukraine very quickly and America will be blamed by the investors for any delays or undermining of Russia's ability to pay it's debts. Blowback against us will likely be most severe. I pray the investors and those impacted will make a distinction between us and our leadership class.

We certainly want the Russian balloon to "deflate." Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be the case.
