U.S. Defense Secretary Austin Admits That The U.S. Is Helping The Ukraine Military With Intelligence To Help Them In Their War Against Russia

Daily Mail: Pentagon says it is now giving intelligence to Ukrainian forces in Donbas after Putin switched gears and moved his troops away from Kyiv and Chernihiv

* Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin appeared before senators on Thursday

* He was asked about intelligence being supplied to Ukrainian forces

* He said the U.S. was sending information to help them fight in the eastern Donbas region, where Russia has been trying to take control since 2014

* It reflects a shift in the war after Russia pulled troops from around Kyiv

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said for the first time on Thursday that the U.S. is helping Ukrainian troops with intelligence to help them fight Russian forces.

The Biden administration has been wary of doing anything that could be seen by Moscow as an escalation of the conflict, and that could be used for Russia to broaden the war. But with Russia shifting its focus away from Kyiv to the eastern Donbas region, Austin revealed on Thursday that the U.S. was helping Ukrainian forces there.

Why little commentary here? WNU Ed., you seem to be making excuses for the Russian Chiefs for non-cooperation. They're not going to cooperate. They're going to slaughter Tens of Thousands of Ukrainian civilians to break them. The problem for the U.S. Administration is to find the balance of "assistance" that will not tip Putin over to using tactical nukes. Within or outside of the Ukraine. Up to that level, anything "legal" should be provided to inflict death and logistical damage on the Russian assault. Swarms of Predator Drones dressed in Ukraine colors and operated in Ukraine by Ukrainians would do wonders. As would medium range HE ballistic missiles hitting bases within Russia that are launching missiles into Ukraine, and serving as supply depots.

And nukes painted red white and blue flying across the artic tundra. Only question is who's are they?

This much was obvious. All this talk of ukrainian spies and intercepts was mostly just planted in the media to hopefully fool the russians into not figuring out who is actually informing the ukrainians about everything by and large. How well did it work?Who knows. But the fact that there are admissions is probably an indication the russians figured it out.
