As soon as they had finished burying a veteran colonel killed by Russian shelling, the cemetery workers readied the next hole. Inevitably, given how quickly death is felling Ukrainian troops on the front lines, the grave won’t stay empty for long.
Col. Oleksandr Makhachek left behind a widow, Elena, and their daughters Olena and Myroslava-Oleksandra. In the first 100 days of war, his grave was the 40th dug in the military cemetery in Zhytomyr, 90 miles west of the capital, Kyiv.

WNU Editor: The Ukraine government is broke. It has no foreign reserves. Does not collect much if any revenues via through taxes. It is totally dependent on Western aid and resources. The West is even paying the salaries of Ukrainian soldiers.
Bottom line.
Ukraine can fight this war for a very long time as long as the West continues to support this conflict. But if the West pulls-out, it will be very difficult for Ukraine to continue the war.
