Senior Ukrainian General Admits That The Ukrainian Army Has Lost Up To 50% Of Their Heavy Weapons

Ukrainian News: For First Time Since Full-Scale Invasion, AFU Report On Military Equipment Losses 

The commander of the logistics support of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Volodymyr Karpenko has said that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops, the Ukrainian army has lost from 30 to 50 percent of military equipment. 

Karpenko made the corresponding statement in an interview with National Defense. 

"To date, we have approximately 30-40, sometimes up to 50 percent of equipment losses as a result of active hostilities. So we lost about 50 percent," he said. 

According to Karpenko, since the beginning of the invasion, the Armed Forces have lost approximately 1,300 infantry fighting vehicles, 400 tanks and 700 artillery systems.

WNU Editor: In an interview by National Defense Magazine with two senior Ukrainian defense officials the following was revealed .... the Ukrainian military forces have lost up to 50% of their heavy weapons, including about 400 tanks, approximately 1,300 infantry fighting vehicles, 700 artillery systems, as well as a large number of military personnel.  

Gen. Volodymyr Karpenko is the one who made this admission, and he should know. He is Ukraine's land forces command logistics commander, and this is the first time that a senior Ukrainian defense official is admitting what military equipment has been lost.
