Mirror: Nord Stream pipelines supplying gas from Russia 'attacked' as pressure plunges
A sudden drop in pressure on the Nord Stream pipelines has been due to a leak after it is believed they have been attacked, a German economy official reportedly said
Gas pipelines connecting Russia to the rest of Europe appear to have been sabotaged after suffering a sudden drop in pressure, a German economy official reportedly said.
The now defunct Russian-owned Nord Stream 2 suffered a gas leak and it has now been followed by a drop of pressure on Nord Stream 1, with German officials reportedly believing that the pipelines have been attacked.
Supply has not been impacted as there was no gas being sent through the pipelines.
