Vice President Kamala Harris has lauded the alliance between the US and Japan as the 'cornerstone of peace, stability and prosperity' in the Indo-Pacific region following a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishidi.
Harris discussed a partnership between the two countries on Taiwan security issues with Kishidi today.
'The alliance between Japan and the United States is a cornerstone of what we believe is integral to peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region,' Harris said at the Akasaka Palace in Tokyo.
