News 360: Iraq’s Parliament elects Kurdish Abdelatif Rashid as the country’s new president
Iraq's Parliament on Thursday elected Abdelatif Rashid, candidate of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, as the country's new president after beating his rival, Barham Sali, in a secret ballot held more than a year after the parliamentary elections that took place in October 2021.
