WNU Editor: A lot of talk in alternative media that US military planes turned off their transponders early Monday morning (link here).
I do not know if these reports are true. Main stream media is not reporting this story. Neither any of the military blogs that I follow.
My gut tells me that if it did happen it was a test/exercise.
Shutting down military transponders is what will happen if war breaks out between the U.S. and Russia. In this case it looks like someone wanted to test the reaction time.

The difference between the US and the Russia (USSR rump state) is that the Americans have trained pilots. The Russians have dead pilots.
Although American pilots are getting more and more woke and therefore useless.
Which brings up the question of how good are the Chinese pilots. Now the the trash in America and Britain (i.e. politicians) are trying to bona fides in busting pilots working for the Chinese. that was working and might still work except for this:

What are ex British and American pilots suppose to think when NATO governments officially train Chinese pilots, American politicians are heavily invested in China (Pelosi, Feinstain, Biden family), and American politicians sitting in the intel committee are bedding Chinese spies (Swalwell)?
It seems grossly hypocritical and yet the politicians and MSM want the population to genuflect whenever they utter a word.
(That is right, population not citizens).

Boy, you guys really like to get off topic. what does pilot quality have to do with a situation of the transponders being turned off?
You turn off transponders in case of war. Usually pilots fly planes although that is changing. The quality of pilots does tend to affect air combat and wars.
We are talking about portents of war in relation to aircraft, so it is germane.
Closer to the subject and much better to confirm...did this transponder event really happen,?
