The world’s richest man who recently bought the social media company is set to receive an invitation to come to the European Parliament in Brussels and explain himself, two Parliament officials told POLITICO.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola briefed top EU lawmakers in a closed-door meeting Thursday that she will invite Musk soon. The move comes at the request of lawmakers from the Liberal group Renew, a spokesperson for the group said.

Check out Musk at the B20 conference in Bali. Went concurrently with the G20. A big international Tech Summit. Very large. Musk piped in remotely and is a giant floating head on their megatron tv screen.

Governments will legalize drugs, but still hold being stoned against someone like Musk.
Musk's only crime is asking Twitter workers to actually work and to not persecute conservatives.
I can imagine a job at Twitter as being a rather cush job, All the hard work was done 5 or 10 years ago, Now it is maintenance a few minor projects . But the workers get the cachet that they are actually creating the cutting edge. They are not unless you count fascism.

Actually wrong. He's laid of twitter staff across continents in different countries and in some cases (not always), breaking employment law in those countries by not following due process. I'm sure the EU doesn't care about that, they probably do just want to mouth off at him concerning censoring. Which is ironic considering he's sacked his own employees (twitter and tesla) for free speech criticism.
Twitter is still up and running. Just how much featherbedding was going on at Twitter?
Many of those people at Twitter were not fist class programmers, but rank and file Leftists, who policed any thought that was not Leftist.
