EU Parliament To Vote On Wednesday To Label Russia A 'State Sponsor Of Terror'

Anadolu Agency: European Parliament to vote on resolution naming Russia ‘state sponsor of terrorism’

Voting will take place on Nov. 23, says EP spokesperson European Parliament will vote on a resolution on Nov. 23 that will designate Russia a “state sponsor of terrorism,” a parliament spokesperson said Friday.

“On Wednesday, members will be voting on a resolution dubbing Russia a country sponsor for terrorism given massive step up of Russian attacks on civilian targets in Ukraine,” said Delphine Colard during a press briefing.

WNU Editor: The expectation is that this resolution will pass .... MEPs set to declare Russia a state sponsor of terrorism (News European Parliament).

This is an incredibly dangerous development. This will kill all relations between the EU and Russia. It will also lay the groundwork for some of NATO's EU members (Poland and the Baltic states) to invoke Article 4, which Russia will regard as a step towards invoking Article 5 .... a declaration of hostilities between NATO and Russia.

I do not think the US will join in passing such a resolution. To do so will kill all back-channels to make sure that there will be no nuclear escalation.

To say that this crisis is continuing to escalate and spiral out of control is an understatement.

Libya was a USSR/Russian client state. In fact Russia is still there.

Libya under Qadaffi was a state sponsor of terror. There was no way Qadaffi could have pulled the shit that he did without Russia's nuclear umbrella.

Iran is an ally of Russia and a sponsor of terror.
Syria is an ally of Russia and a sponsor of terror.
North Korea is terrorist stat. it has the support of Russian and China.
Cuba an ally of Russia is a territory state. Ditto Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Facts are that Russia is a sponsor of terror. the only point worth of discussion is it wise to explicitly say so given how many nukes Russia, That is the "Real Politik" point.

WNU is worried of how Russia is being labeled and not worry how Russia is acting before being labeled.

Imagine being a jew in germany ruled by national socialist party in the 30ies of last century. When was the right moment or time to leave the country? I want to know when it's time to leave the european continent because the rhetoric of some commentators is frightening me. Suggesting there is a big chance of our government officials thinking the same way like they do.

I know you can't compare those events, but which red flag you think is making the difference about life and death. Of course no one takes it lightly to leave their homes, but the decision you do it for your family.

This is slowly becoming a war of implacable differences
For the sake of everything virtuous and holy, i can only hope that the decadent progressive west loses.

if they win, they will gloatingly condem traditional western culture, Christianity and anything sacred. Remember Matthew's post a few days ago? The West is ruled by ideoloical like nazis. Thats how they operate.

Just because there is a kultur war in the West does not mean a war against a foreign aggressor (Russia) cannot be fought at the same time.

Germany and Japan were fought at the same time. So it is possible to fight 2 wars at once. It might not be possible for Russian troll (4:33PM) to walk and chew gum at the same time but that is his freaking problem.

The Kultur Wars are coming to a climax. The RINOS and the luberals are putting the churches' backs up against the wall. They have to fight ferociously or end up slaves.

12 GOP Senators Voted to Eliminate Religious Freedom and Political Dissent

Here is the RINO list of shame

Richard Burr of North Carolina
Thom Tillis of North Carolina

Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming
Mitt Romney of Utah

Shelley Capito of West Virginia
Rob Portman of Ohio
Todd Young of Indiana
Joni Ernst of Iowa
Sens. Roy Blunt of Missouri

Dan Sullivan of Alaska

Lisa Murkowski of Alaska
Susan Collins of Maine

Susan Collins has been a problem for over 2 decades. Susan Collins & Olympia Snowe could always be trusted to stab an otherwise Republican majority in the back.

Lisa Murkowski never won her senate seat fair and square even once. Daddy gave her a senate seat and she had the power of incumbency and the part backing her although she has been a perennial thorn in the side. She is such a RINO that she is backing Democrats of Republicans in Alaska. She is a known turncoat.

North Carolina? No clue. Polling? Something in the water?

Joni Ernst. WTF?

Utah: Maybe Romney drifted or may he was never anything but a fiscal conservative. One wonders, if he is Mormon at all.

As there are 12 Republican defectors, churches are in peril. As bad as it is, I do not see the Orthodox Church as a solution. It does not help the Russian people with the problems created by oligarchs.

The EU only do things for the benefit of the EU when it fits

This is bullshit. Quite un-true in the ordinary sense of what that means, and so obviously an emo hissy-fit of the kind post-modern people are supposed have risen above.
But we wouldnt be here if we didn't live in Clown-World in the west.

No, but I think we know that without referring to stale comments.
