The initials were originally intended to be an acronym for 'small, short' on the smallest uniforms, according to The Jewish Chronicle.
The 'SS' acronym appeared on helmets, sleeping bags and waterproof jackets issued to troops.

Went to the daily mail site and jewish chronicle.... no picture showing this SS label.
If it is a size issue then it will be on the inside of the clothing and this is a bullshit complaint on behalf of the Jewish community.
Now if had been on the outside the the uniforms and prominently displayed, that would be a problem.
Maybe we should not refer to social security any more as SS. This is how stupid this complaint is.
