Moldova's Government Facing Multiple Crisis

RFE: Crisis Talks In Moldova After Telegram Hacks, Protests 

Moldova's president, prime minister, and members of the senior ruling party gathered for an urgent weekend meeting after weeks of anti-government protests, pressure from Moscow, and social media hacks that targeted top officials. 

Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita declined to disclose details of the talks on the evening of November 13 at the presidential offices in Chisinau except to bat away media speculation that Gavrilita or her pro-EU government might be stepping down.

Moldavian gov is bought and paid for by the US. Maybe one day those people will actually get a government that looks out for their own interests.

Russian diplomat called the Romanians "Gypsies". Why?

So they cannot claim they have separate identity from Muscovy. If you deny that Romanians (Moldavan dialect aside) is a real language, well then you can go full NAZI on them. Bring an army and suppress the not real language. Tell them they will be assimilated.

Romanian is derived from Latin. It might have a lot of loan words from Turkish or Slavic, but that does not make the language illegitimate. Name a language without loan words and I will show you a dead language.
