Why? Not because of what Goldman trader Michael Sullivan wrote last week explaining why Energy has (finally) become everyone's favorite sector (more than two years after we first told our readers to go balls to the wall long XOM):

Liberal Democrats and progressives are religious zealots.
When cars were first invented, you had steam powered, battery powered and gas/diesel powered cars. The latter won out due to physics/ you can see the adoption of gas power power steam or batter power as agnostic. People were doing what was feasible and economical.
Gas is still feasible and economical except that Democrats are trying to kill it by fiat/by law.
Time is fast approaching when most people have to decide they want to live another day or lock Democrats up in a loony bin.

Not the GOP, but Americans. We could increase the Defense budget and ship Democrat fascists, who like many NAZIs will not recant their religious faith, to a penal colony called Venezuela. The head warden would be Maduro.
Many celebrity and elected Democrats think Venezuela as a paradise and sing its praises. you should thin k of it less of a lock up than an all expenses paid vacation.
