NBC: Traces of explosives found at Nord Stream pipelines, confirming 'gross sabotage,' Sweden says
European officials had previously blamed Russia for the blasts, accusing the Kremlin of starting an energy war to damage international support for Ukraine.
Investigators found traces of explosives at the site of the damaged Nord Stream pipelines in the Baltic sea, confirming that the pipelines had been subject to “gross sabotage,” the Swedish Security Service said Friday.
In a statement, prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist said that investigators had seized a number of “foreign objects” at the site of the damaged pipelines, which showed traces of explosive residue after analysis.
The statement did not expand on how the explosives might have got there and said an investigation was ongoing.

If they blame Russia, they admit they can't protect vital infrastructure in the Baltic sea which is supposed to be a NATO lake
The Baltic fleet will not fare any better than the Black Sea fleet. The Baltic Fleet can only play spoiler for awhile or flee to the White Sea.
Black Sea Fleet is not longer cutting circles in the Black Sea but laagered in Sevastopol hoping the Ukrainians will not come back. When or before the Ukrainians push into Eastern Kherson the Black Sea Fleet will be attacked by sea, air and land. Sucks to be a Russian sailor.
The problem with operating in those small areas of water
(small in comparison to the Oceans)
is that any ship in those are are sitting ducks. Nato or Russian does not matter. lf you are close enough to any type of unfriendly land mass you are open and vulnerable
True, but NATO has more landmass, Advantage to them.
