Reuters: U.S. Expects Reduced Tempo in Ukraine Fighting to Continue for Months

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. intelligence expects the reduced tempo in fighting in Ukraine to continue in the next several months and sees no evidence of a reduced Ukrainian will to resist, despite attacks on its power grid and other critical winter infrastructure, the Director of National Intelligence said on Saturday.

Update: US Intelligence Chief Predicts 'Reduced Tempo', Waning Morale Of Russian Forces Entering Winter (Zero Hedge)

WNU Editor: I do not see a reduction in fighting. Nor do I expect a reduction in the coming months. Russia has around 700,000 soldiers in and around Ukraine, and they are being deployed to not waste time.

During World War I, the German high command gave German divisions a rating of 1, 2, 3 r 4 to denote their combat skill based on track record. It did not matter, if the division was an active duty division or a reserve division.

So there are 700,000 Russian troops. What are the ratings for the various formations? Nicolas Chauvin was not a fluke.

Quality is not the issue; it’s quantity. Are there enough Ukrainians and do they have enough bullets to shoot the human waves that will be thrown at them?

Quantity does not always win out over quality. There is a tipping point.
The more people Russia piles in without logistics means there will be more cannon fodder and more Russian soldier famine victims.

Russian soldiers in occupied territories act like they are extras in TWD searching for canned food. At some point that foraging is going to come up empty.

"Even starving men will run forward with a bayonet at their backs."

Or they might turn and kill their persecutors.

There seems to be racism at work as to who is on the 1xst line of defense and who gets kitted out properly.

10:41 wants us to believe that the same ethnics that mutiny in camp inside Russia will not turn on the people aiming bayonet on their back when on the frontline. 10:41 s selling a load of hokum. they must the the son of Poster or at least a 1st cousin once removed.
