Clinton Backtracks On Putin Nazi Comparison -- Time
The former Secretary of State walked back comparisons to Hitler but remained critical of the Russian president
Speaking at an event at UCLA on Wednesday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denied she drew a parallel between Russia’s recent actions in Ukraine and Nazi Germany at a fundraiser on Tuesday.
“I’m not making a comparison, certainly,” Clinton said. “But I am recommending that we perhaps can learn from this tactic that has been used before.” She also called Putin “a tough guy with a thin skin.”

My Comment: Someone must have told her that if she wants to hold a high office again in the future .... even President .... comments like that will have consequences. Saul Alinsky tactics of demonizing your opponents on a national level is one thing .... but doing it on on an international level can be very dangerous .... hence it must be done very carefully. But as I had commented here .... in many Russians she has already crossed a certain red line. In my case .... I enjoy calling Putin a "mafia Don" who loves to hang out with billionaire oligarchs .... something that privately he would also probably agree with.
