Told you this could get interesting. A guess here would be the Administration will use the out cry to say "ok, it's not in the national interest to pursue this" then hope it dies. There are a lot of democratic ex-congress (Feinstein) who would look pretty bad from what comes out at a trial. The Administration probably doesn't care that much, for Patraeus was kept quiet when they needed it. There are a lot of nervous people, not for the country mind you, but for their own backsides.
