U.S. Republican Senators Want An Investigation Into President Trumps Relations With Russia



CNN: Republican senators call for Russia investigation, Flynn testimony

(CNN)The Senate's second-ranking Republican and other GOP senators are calling for an investigation into connections between President Donald Trump and Russia, and want former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to testify.

Sen. John Cornyn, who has called for an investigation into Trump's tie to Russia before Flynn resigned, told reporters Tuesday that the Senate standing committees with oversight of intelligence need to investigate Flynn. Sen. Roy Blunt, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, also told KTRS radio he wanted to speak with Flynn.

WNU Editor: CNN is the network that is reporting and pushing the story that Republican Senators want to do a full-blown investigation into this case .... so I have doubts on its accuracy. But CNN is quoting Republican Senators .... so who knows. But if I start reading more stories that Republican Senators  want a full-blown investigation focusing on President Trump .... and they actually start acting on it .... I would not be surprised. It has not been a secret that the Washington establishment hates President Trump, and if he can be "taken out" politically .... on this story or another .... why not.
