Daily Mail: Some 42 million Latin Americans say they want to move to the US - and 5 million plan to do so WITHIN 12 months, new poll shows
* Gallup surveyed 450 million residents of the 33 countries that make up Latin America and the Caribbean
* Poll found that 27 per cent - 120 million people - said they would like to immigrate to another country
* When asked which country they preferred to relocate to, 35 per cent - 42 million - said the United States
* Gallup also found that 5 million plan on relocating to the U.S. sometime within the next year
* Trump seized on the Gallup poll to boost his case for a wall along the border with Mexico
* Trump heads to Peru later this week for a Summit of the Americas meeting
Some 42 million Latin Americans want to migrate to the United States, according to a new Gallup poll.
The survey was taken to gauge the opinions of some 450 million residents of the 33 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Of those who participated in the survey, 27 per cent said they would like to permanently move to another country if they could.
The 27 per cent represents about 120 million people, according to Gallup.

I'm sure in China and Russia they see this as opportunity. Imagine what would happen if those 42 million were to march to the US abs demand to be let in. There is no stopping mind of people. You just can't do it. The borders and much of society in the south of the US would collapse. Mass migration has been weaponised before, and given statements made by immigrants in the last caravan, including suing the US to be let in, this could happen for no more than 50 million. About 10 dollars for each person to get them to the border. That's all it takes. Russia could easily do this and - given the many socialist and failed states in the region, it would be easy too. The damage to the US would be in the trillions.
