The U.S. Senate Impeachment Trial Of President Trump Is Happening With A Spectator Gallery That Is At Least HAlf-Empty

NYPost: Trump impeachment: Half-empty spectator gallery puzzles senators

The Senate spectator gallery was at least half-empty throughout the first week of President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial and senators serving as the jury in the marathon sessions are taking notice — some stunned that there aren’t more people watching history unfold, while others understand the public avoiding the repetitive proceedings.

“I’m really surprised at that because this is kind of historic and I would think this would be an opportunity for people to get in there regardless of whose side you are on,” Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) told The Post Friday.

Journalists aren’t allowed to bring cellphones or cameras into the gallery, so the noticeably small audience is known directly only to people able to access the chamber.

The spectator gallery is half empty because people recognize the impeachment is a disgrace they do not want to be associated with. The Democrats are cutting their own throats with this impeachment charade.

Roger had it right.

The Democrats want there power and they want it now. They have rigged too many elections to be denied.

Adam Schiff said the the presidency cannot be left up to the voters.

Schiff is in league with Soros. There ain't a good bone in his body.

If that were true you would think they would pack the place to see it happen. More likely the thought is that to be seen in that place during the "trial" might mark you for action later should you happen to smile at the wrong time.

Because you don’t matter that much, and it’s all you and your colleagues fault.

I thought the empty seats were just an illusion; the result of a malfunctioning schiff corporation camera. You remember, don't you? The cameras whose lenses were ground by corporate head addie schiff? What a scandal that was! Consumer Affairs had them yanked from the shelves quickly but they didn't catch all of them if I recall correctly.
So the empty seats were actually the result of the evil Trump supporters bribing the janitor to pack the place with too many seats to fill in order to create a false appearance? Got it. Thanks for the insight, Bob.

After all the theatrics by activated people, paid actors off the street and other rotgut, no one in their right mind wants to be in the gallery anymore.
