President Biden Continues To Defend His Afghanistan Withdrawal Decision

Daily Mail: Biden defends his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal AGAIN: President insists 'no one' came up with a plan to pull out 'without anyone getting hurt' and was always against the invasion

* President briefly brought up the military operation in his wife's CBS interview

* As a Senator he voted to allow George W. Bush to invade Iraq, Afghanistan

* However he opposed deploying additional troops as vice president in 2009

* Biden's oversimplification of the criticism he received on his military withdrawal leaves out national security concerns and accusations he risked US credibility

President Joe Biden defended the United States' widely-criticized withdrawal operation from Afghanistan this past summer, claiming that he was against the invasion 'from the beginning' in a new interview - though his past Senate voting record says otherwise.

Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, Biden chalked up the bipartisan criticism he received to failing to evacuate 'without anyone getting hurt.'

The president, 79, made the comments during a brief appearance in CBS correspondent Rita Braver's profile of First Lady Dr. Jill Biden.

And as for President Biden's claim that he was always against the invasion.

That is not true.

When he was a senator from Delaware, he joined his colleagues in a unanimous vote in support of the 2001 authorization of military force against "nations, organizations, or persons" who helped perpetrate the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Everyone knew at the time that Afghanistan was going to be the first target.

It is very impolite for you to remind people that President Biden was for it before he was against it. Expect a tax audit. Sure you are Canadian, but it won't make a difference. If you spent any time for business in a city run by Democrats, where they have a city income tax, you will be audited. It is they way Democrats roll. If you gave a speech in NYC and got paid, you will be visited.

Joe might not be bright, but he is smart enough to copy the moves of other Democrats like John Kerry.

Would it have been better, if Joe Biden had copied Obama and claim he had
"evolved"?

Joe has copied a lot of Obamanisms such as "Come on Man" or "That is not, who we are."
