New York Ledger/Financial Times: Ukraine blames Germany for ‘blocking’ Nato weapons supply
Ukraine’s new defence minister has blamed Germany for blocking the supply of weaponry to Kyiv through Nato, despite US warnings of a possible imminent invasion by Russian forces.
Oleksii Reznikov told the Financial Times that Berlin had in the last month vetoed Ukraine’s purchase of anti-drone rifles and anti-sniper systems via the Nato Support and Procurement Agency.
However, Germany had since relented on the first item after deeming it non-lethal.
“They are still building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline and at the same time blocking our defensive weapons. It is very unfair,” Reznikov said, referring to the Russian gas pipeline, which runs through the Baltic Sea to Germany and bypasses existing supply routes through Ukraine.

They do. They beat the Russians in WW1. They nearly beat them in WW2 except for Hitler interfering. Napoleon burnt Moscow. So did the Crimean Tatars and they were a fraction of the old horde. Moscow or Russian has been burnt or taken 4 different times.
Considering the distances involved that were remarkable and people should not assume that distance or number of troops alone will save Moscow or the Russians.
Moscow has been taken from the east, south and west. It has not been taken from the north by the Swedes or Finns. Who knows that day may yet come.

This tells you what an absolute joke the new Ukrainian political order is.
That this sham of a nation REQUIRES the oil transit fees and energy discounts from it's supposed archenemy in order to provide even basic governmental functions to it's citizens.
That it somehow thinks its rational for them to then spend that money building a war machine pointed solely at Russia, and that the Kremlin should do nothing about it.
Instead of keeping the old pipelines open to provide Ukraine it's yearly supply of free gas, this winter Putin should let the maidan nazis freeze. They can apply for more world bank loans to buy Russian gas second-hand from Germany at it's actual market price. Of course he won't do that because some pensioner will freeze to death in her home and western media will treat it like magnitsky 2.0.
Very glad Biden is now in office to reap the nonsensical fruits of his and Obama's project in Ukraine.
