Vice President Kamala Harris fielded a question about the administration's 'stalled' agenda – and ended up dropping the politically taboo phrase of nationwide 'malaise.'
Harris reached for the word during an appearance on the PBS News Hour on January 6th, when she got asked if the administration had tried to do 'too much,' on a week when there were no signs of movement on Biden's Build Back Better agenda.

I think many of us are demoralized so yes I think there is a malaise of sorts in America. Personally I'm not demoralized. I see things getting better but it will involve either getting the leadership class to change course or removing them. I think they will be removed. Hopefully it will not have to be done violently.
All of the government regulations and incessant meddling in our affairs is keeping Income Tax Accountants such as myself very busy!! I don't see that changing in the near to mid term.
In general, I'd agree there's a malaise in America. As for me and my family, not at all!!
Anger not malaise. Anger at seeing how stupid she and her administration conduct themselves.
Anger that they lord over us like royalty.
Anger that they had to cheAt to win the presidency.

I'd say there is a level of hyper-obesity among Americans.

More angst at this point than malaise. Angst that they are getting rid of the filibuster in 9 days and passing their voter fraud bill ushering in a one p[arty state.
Malaise comes when they finish their destruction of the American economy and people are treading water or losing ground economically.
U3 is 3,9%, but it does not feel like 3.9%. It feels like low worker participation rate but with a high energy cost input into the nation along with disruption caused by a purposeful overreaction to COVID disrupting the economy.
Kamala is frustrated, mad, or upset that the White House agenda is facing roadblocks and people are not telling her how sweet she smells and how brilliant she is.
She might perk up if the vote fraud bill passes, but maybe not. The Democrats could do well and she could still be in the doghouse with her own party.
With no political career what does she have? A fake family?
