More Bad Poll Numbers For US Vice President Harris

American Greatness: Kamala Harris Has the Worst Net Negative Rating of Any Vice President in NBC Poll’s History 

While voters continue to have serious concerns about Joe Biden’s mental health, they are even less impressed with his vice president, according to the latest national NBC News poll. 

Kamala Harris has a historically low approval rating of 32 percent in survey, compared with 49 percent who have a negative view of her. Thirty-nine percent of respondents said they had a “very negative” view of Harris. Her net negative rating of -17 is reportedly the worst for any vice president in the NBC poll’s history.  

In Oct. 2019, then-Vice President Mike Pence had a 34% positive, 38% negative rating (-4). 

In Dec. 2010, Joe Biden’s rating was 34% positive, 33% negative (+1). 

 In May 2003, Dick Cheney was at 47% positive, 24% negative (+23). And in March of 1995, Al Gore’s rating in the poll was 42% positive, 27% negative (+15).

VP Harris visited the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) to show America's 'rock-solid commitment' to South Korea's security Vice President Kamala Harris made an unfortunate gaffe during her speech at the Korean Peninsula's Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on Thursday, saying that the U.S. has a "strong alliance" with "the Republic of North Korea." 

 "It is an alliance that is strong and enduring," she added, intending to refer to the Republic of Korea, which is South Korea's official name. 

The vice president then continued her remarks by professing the U.S.' support for South Korea's defense against the increasingly aggressive North Korean government.

I tend to avoid watching either Biden or Harris speak, but sometimes they’re nearly impossible to avoid. The other day I heard part of an interview with Harris, and I was appalled. 

I expected very little, but it was worse than I expected. She was nearly incoherent, every bit as bad as Biden, and worse because what’s her excuse? I’d seen her talk before she became VP and in the early days of the Biden administration, and although she wasn’t great at expressing herself nor was she “likeable,” her thoughts weren’t especially difficult to follow. They are now, at least when I’ve seen her.

WNU Editor: I recall reading an article a week before President Trump was inaugurated that some of his inner circle felt that he was becoming "scared" on assuming the responsibilities of the job. 

This is understandable. The Presidency is not an easy job. You have to have a certain mindset to handle the pressure of the office and its responsibilities, while not being burdened with the decisions that you have to make. 

Does the current US Vice President have what it takes to handle the job.

* Vice President Kamala Harris faced a barrage of questions in a round of interviews Thursday morning – on the one year anniversary of her inauguration 

* Harris deflected when asked about failed voting rights legislation, bad poll numbers and broken COVID promises 

* She also seemed to suggest that there is doubt the 2022 election will be fair now that two voting rights bills did not pass the Senate on Wednesday

Kamala Harris faced a barrage of questions about the failed voting rights legislation, 2022 midterms, COVID and weak polling during less-friendly-than-usual network interviews airing Thursday morning on the one year anniversary of her and President Joe Biden's inauguration. 

She suggested during a Today show interview that the administration is concerned about the 2022 midterms being fair after the two pieces of voting legislation were blocked by Republicans on Wednesday.

Vice President Kamala Harris said during her CBS interview Sunday that 'democracy' is the most significant national security threat facing the United States. 

She had been trying to echo Democrats' warning about threats to the 'integrity' of the American democratic system as her boss, President Joe Biden, tries to push his voting rights agenda through Congress. 

In the final portion of her wide-ranging interview released over the week, Harris also defended the Biden administration's chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan in August, instead blaming its predecessor for first setting the deadline to leave, and added that climate change was one of the biggest emerging threats against US security.

Axios: Burnout, money, concern drive Harris turnover 

Burnout, better opportunities and concern about being permanently branded a "Harris person" is driving some of the turnover in Vice President Kamala Harris's office, people familiar with the situation tell Axios.  

Why it matters: Harris is not only a heartbeat from the presidency but, by virtue of her office, the presumed 2024 frontrunner if President Biden doesn't seek re-election. There's been an inordinate amount of disarray — and, now, turnover — throughout her tenure.  

Her allies say she has a terrific chance to reset and downplay the early stumbles. But top Biden officials privately roll their eyes at her team, and want to see smoother, more effective leadership.
