Canada's Justice Minister Says Being “Pro-Trump” Is A Factor That Will Decide If Your Bank Account Is Seized Under Their Emergency Orders

WNU Editor: This Canadian government is showing its true colors.

On a side note.

My accountant's office is only a few buildings away from Justice Minister David Lametti riding office in Ville Emard. It is always closed (appointment only), and the windows are completely covered. These people are clearly scared about their security.

On Trump

He had 3 messages.

1) Control the Border
2) Economic Revival/Fair Trade
3) Strong Defense.

Trump did not build a complete wall, but he built a lot under sustained political and media fire.

One way to build a strong defense besides spending more money is to give your soldiers rest and relaxation. You do not grind them down with endless brush wars in which the intelligentsia has no will or desire to win anyway.

Who wanted to win Afghanistan other than it was a 'nice to have'. It is a war. yo campaign for it as hard as you campaign for elections. You have to campaign to bring up morale, gain a consensus and ensure there is funding. Who did that for any length of time?

And of course Trump was wrong for trying to correct the trade imbalance with China. Can't do without a new iPhone every year!

Now, Chad Bown of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, who has been the go-to source on the trade war from the beginning, has a final assessment of that deal. And it turns out to have been a complete flop: “China bought none of the additional $200 billion of exports Trump’s deal had promised.”

So Trump was a chump; the Chinese took him to the cleaners. But if you want to do a post-mortem on the trade war, Trump’s haplessness in dealing with foreign leaders is actually a minor part of the story. Far more important is the fact that the shocks we’ve been experiencing since the pandemic began make the Trumpian view of trade look even more economically foolish than it did when he took office.

So China cheated on a trade deal against a weak disunited country. It is more of a Democrat Party problem than a Trump one.

Nothing says disunity more than impeachment x 2 and the Russia Hoax.

What would I do? Disconnect from China taking 2 to 10 years.

It would be difficult and arduous, but in the long run it would be safer and more prosperous.
