The United Nations General Assembly on Thursday suspended Russia from the U.N. Human Rights Council over reports of 'gross and systematic violations and abuses of human rights' by invading Russian troops in Ukraine.
The U.S.-led push won 93 votes in favour to suspend Russia, while 24 countries voted no and 58 countries abstained.
A two-thirds majority of voting members - excluding abstentions - was needed to suspend Russia from the 47-member council.

Awesome. Russia has forfeited it's right to exist along side civilized peoples is my opinion.
At least a half dozen other countries should have been voted out ages ago....
So the UN that never complained about human rights abuses conducted by the US now is in shock that Russia slaughters people manually while the US does it with drones and calls it collateral and the numbers of civilian deaths are no longer even published so even we, taxpayers in a democracy, in a war conducted on"our behalf", are no longer allowed to look at. We are just too stupid and could misinterpret the data, just like the FDA tried to hold the data for 75 years on these experimental mRNA (first ever used on humans, and rushed to the market, with no clinical trials that are typically done), and now only holds the key data back in hopes we all forget.

if you know or care about what is taking place daily and nonstop by Russia in Ukraine then what are you talking about? And if you say that what is asserted is fake then you are a Russian dupe. There is enough evidence from the skies and on the earth to prove what the Russians are doing. And while it is not at all unusual for any military to do crimes that are forbidden by mutually agreed upon rules, the scope of what Russia is doing more nearly constitutes genocide than simply an infraction of rules of warfare.
I've seen plenty of evidence of warcrimes...by the Ukrainians.
If you are so devoted to act upon you're irrational hatred of the Russian people then go over there, join what's left of the Reddit brigade, the Ukrainians don't have the guns to outfit you but they can use the meatshields.

Catholic and Dragoon are an interesting compounding.
Catholic is common parlance means Roman Catholic (RC). All Christians are Catholic, but not all are RC.
While I do not believe that Christians must be pacifists. I wonder about the Dragoon part. It is more original than CatholicCrusader. Less people would take offense in part, because the majority of people do not know what a dragoon is.
I always need a scored card to keep dragoons, cuirassiers, hussars, and the rest. Study of Napoleonic Warfare is not my interest.

I do agree with the the fact that a number of actions and some rhetoric is hardening Russian attitudes.
Putin might be regarded as an asshole. It does not matter much. Stalin was an asshole and yet the Russians fought hard in WW2. Stalin help set off WW2 and was partially responsible and yet the Russians fought hard.
The Russians have given a poor accounting of themselves on the battle field. It does not mean in the long run they will continue to do so. With a hardening of attitudes their resolve will be greater and they will fight harder.
If Russian generals lead from the front, then how do things like Samashki massacre occur unless it is a feature not bug.

I tend to get some of the various names of mounted cavalry mixed up as well over the years lol. The Byzantines especially used to throw me off. Interesting points though.
Respectfully, the post is not the place to go to for foreign and strategic policy advice. Based on plenty of my own experience. Just my opinion.

These things and worse have been committed by our military apparatus on a clockwork rotation for decades. As a sole example, we're currently occupying part of a foreign country against the wishes of it's sovereign government, and we levelled entire cities to rubble in the process. The uprising you prophesize never happens because a compliant media manufactures consent and assures you always feel righteous in the cause.
