Mediaite: SHOCK POLL: Almost 70 Percent of Republicans Say IMPEACH BIDEN After Midterm Win

Almost 70 percent of Republican voters say the House of Representatives should impeach President Joe Biden if their party takes over the chamber in the 2022 midterms — doubling the number of all other Americans who say the same.

Former President Donald Trump was impeached twice, the second time for inciting the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Overwhelming majorities of Americans believe the actions surrounding that event are a crime — over 71 percent in one recent poll.

A roughly equal percentage of Americans (66%) do not believe that President Biden should be impeached if Republicans retake the majority in November — perhaps as a consequence of the fact that Biden has not been credibly accused of any crimes in office.

WNU Editor: A lot can happen from now till the US midterm elections. But in the event the Republicans do win the House, I do not expect impeachment will be the number one priority. What I do expect are Congressional hearings to be conducted on how President Biden benefited from his son's and his brother's business dealings when he was Vice President, especially in regards to Ukraine and China. And if the same low standard is applied to President Biden as it was applied to President Trump, the possibility of an impeachment by the US Congress in the last year of President Biden's term will become a very real possibility.

There is also the very real possibility that President Biden may resign due to health reasons before an impeachment hearing is held. Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine many have started to notice that the President's mental sharpness has been deteriorating at a rate that is faster than before.

The University of Massachusetts Amherst poss is here .... Over Two-thirds of Republicans Think President Biden Should be Impeached if the GOP Retakes the House, According to New National UMass Amherst Poll.
