US President Biden To Visit Saudi Arabia And Israel Next Month

 

Daily Mail: Biden WILL visit Saudi Arabia next month as part of Middle East trip and meet crown prince MBS to strike deal on oil and repair relations after president called him 'pariah' over Khashoggi murder 

* White House announced on Tuesday Biden will visit Middle East next month 

* The trip will take place July 13 to July 16 * He will make stops in Israel, West Bank and Saudi Arabia 

* He is expected to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi 

* The topics up for discussion will be Israel, Yemen and oil prices 

* Biden raised ire in the kingdom after referring to MBS as a 'pariah' following the murder of journalist Jamaal Khashoggi 

* The trip comes as gas prices in the US continue to surge, a key domestic issue Biden hopes to tackle as midterm elections loom 

* Over the weekend, the national average gas price officially reached $5 a gallon for the first time in American history 

President Joe Biden will visit Saudi Arabia on July 15 and 16 in order to repair the relations between the U.S. and the second largest holder of petroleum reserves in the world. 

The four-day trip will also include stops in Israel and the West Bank, the White House announced on Tuesday. 

While in Saudi Arabia, Biden plans to meet with the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of the kingdom, a senior administration official told reporters on a briefing call.
