The assailant who violently assaulted Nancy Pelosi's husband with a hammer on early Friday morning was looking for the speaker herself when he broke into their San Francisco home, shouting 'Where is Nancy? Where's Nancy?'
Speaker Pelosi was in Washington D.C. when Paul Pelosi, 82, was brutally attacked.
He was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and is undergoing brain surgery, NBC News reported.
The speaker's office said he is expected to recover. San Francisco Police Department identified the suspect as 42-year-old David Depape.
He will be booked at San Francisco county jail several charges, including-attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, and several other additional felonies.

WNU Editor: I have a friend who lives just two blocks away from the Pelosi's home. As he told me this morning .... if an 82 year old centi-millionaire can be assaulted in his own home, no one is safe.
Before Covid I was a regular visitor to the Bay area. My brother has lived there for 25 years. San Francisco is now unrecognizable.

How ironic if San Fran's liberal policies are responsible for the perp being loose on the streets.

2) People speculate if he was a known wolf. Was he known to the FBI and pushed.
3) People wonder about the security system. People wonder about October surprise.
4) People were wondering about the hammer. Who had the hammer the victim or the perp. Then the hoax person err spokes person said they both had hammers. That has made people suspicious.
Maybe the security system worked as advertised. Maybe the perps entry through breaking a glass door was so quick that even a quick police response gave the perp sufficient time for mayhem.

It seems after 4 or 5 iterations of news updates that Paul Pelosi grabbed the hammer to defend himself and the perp took it away.
I wonder how likely it is for Paul Pelosi to have a hammer. Maybe they have one for hanging pictures. Where would it be stored. Would a large knife from the kitchen be closer and more accessible. With the FBI's track record I do not trust anything.

From google maps, the house has 3 cameras. the neighbors have cameras too. The attacker entered from the backyard thru a glass paned double doors. The back yard is separated from the front porch by a 3 to 4 foot fence. it is easy to hop over.
Why did Paul Pelosi not retreat, lock himself in a room or panic room, or flee out the front door however he was dressed?
