* The NBC News report cited sources close to the investigation and was published on Friday morning, but was pulled down by the afternoon 

* The report claimed that Paul Pelosi did not declare an emergency or try to leave his San Francisco home when cops responded to his 911 call last week 

* It claimed that Pelosi took several steps away from police and back into the foyer where he was attacked by David DePape with a hammer 

* The NBC source also claimed that it was unclear if Pelosi was already injured or what his mental state was when he took steps back into the home 

* The report differed from the court documents filed earlier this week based on the San Francisco Police Department report 

 NBC News has pulled a bombshell report that claimed Paul Pelosi did not tell responding police officers that he was in danger just before he was injured in a hammer attack at his San Francisco home last week. 

The clip posted by the media outlet early Friday morning cited sources close to the investigation that claimed the husband of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi did not declare an emergency or say he was in distress when cops showed up at his door in response to his 911 call.

According to Christer Ahlgren, superintendent of the Organized Crime Intelligence Unit of the Finnish National Bureau of Investigation (Keskusrikospoliisi, KRP), Europol’s prediction has already become a reality in Finland: 

“We are seeing signs that these weapons are already in Finland, (…) and we have already seen signs that weapons delivered to Ukraine have been found in Finland,” Ahlgren says.

The assailant who violently assaulted Nancy Pelosi's husband with a hammer on early Friday morning was looking for the speaker herself when he broke into their San Francisco home, shouting 'Where is Nancy? Where's Nancy?' 

Speaker Pelosi was in Washington D.C. when Paul Pelosi, 82, was brutally attacked. 

He was taken to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and is undergoing brain surgery, NBC News reported. 

The speaker's office said he is expected to recover. San Francisco Police Department identified the suspect as 42-year-old David Depape. 

He will be booked at San Francisco county jail several charges, including-attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, and several other additional felonies.

Three Dutch commandos, who were in the US for training, have been shot and wounded outside a hotel in the city of Indianapolis while off duty. 

The incident occurred at around 03:30 on Saturday local time in the city's entertainment district. 

Indianapolis police say officers found the three men with gunshot wounds and they were taken to nearby hospitals. 

The Dutch defence ministry said one of the men was in a critical condition and that the other two were conscious.

* The gunman was on the northbound N train when he put on a gas mask at 8.24am and pulled a smoke cannister out of his bag 

* He unleashed it in the train car, then opened fire, wounding ten people before vanishing as the train pulled in to the station 

* The gunman is described as a black male, weighing 180lbs and approximately 5ft 5in tall 

* He was wearing a green construction-type vest and a grey hoodie on the train, leading some to ask if he works for the city 

* The NYPD has not yet identified him much less found him and a frantic manhunt is underway 

* Videos show the passengers pouring out of the smoke-filled car as it arrived at the 36th Street station 

* NYPD units are now searching subway tunnels for the gunman who may have jumped onto the tracks 

* There is now severe delays across the entire subway network and many trains have been suspended 

The gunman in Tuesday morning's subway horror shooting remains at large, four hours after pulling out a gas mask, detonating a smoke grenade and opening fire on a moving train filled with commuters. 

At 8.24am, the gunman - described by witnesses as a 5ft 5 black man, weighing 170lbs, wearing an green construction vest, grey hoodie and gas mask, put on a gas mask on the train and then let off a smoke bomb on the northbound N train as it moved towards 36th Street in Brooklyn. 

He then opened fire, shooting ten people - five of whom are now in a critical but stable condition. 

When the train pulled into 36th St, the gunman disappeared. He may have fled onto the tracks, prompting NYPD teams to search tunnels as trains were halted, but he remains at large nearly five hours later. 

The wounded and terrified commuters poured out of the subway doors and onto the platform at 36th Street.

The FBI recorded a 26-year high for on-duty police officers intentionally killed across the United States last year, as overall crime and murder rates hit record highs, falling just one short of the all-time grim mark of 74. 

There were 73 cops who died in the line of duty from a 'felonious killing' last year, according to data provided by the FBI shared with CNN, a 59% increase from 2020's total of 46. 

A 'felonious killing' is defined by the FBI as an instance when an officer is 'fatally injured as a direct result of a willful and intentional act by an offender.'

Declassified CIA inspector general reports show a pattern of abuse and a repeated decision by federal prosecutors not to hold agency personnel accountable. 

Over the past 14 years, the Central Intelligence Agency has secretly amassed credible evidence that at least 10 of its employees and contractors committed sexual crimes involving children. 

Though most of these cases were referred to US attorneys for prosecution, only one of the individuals was ever charged with a crime. Prosecutors sent the rest of the cases back to the CIA to handle internally, meaning few faced any consequences beyond the possible loss of their jobs and security clearances. That marks a striking deviation from how sex crimes involving children have been handled at other federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Administration. CIA insiders say the agency resists prosecution of its staff for fear the cases will reveal state secrets.

Business Insider: Employee of US military contractor admits faking strength-test results for steel in Navy submarines, a decades-long fraud 

* A worker faked hundreds of steel-strength tests at a foundry that supplies parts to Navy submarines. 

* Elaine Marie Thomas pleaded guilty to fraud and faces up to 10 years in jail. 

* The steel her firm produced failed strength tests but she faked results so they were used in subs.

A metallurgist has pleaded guilty to decades of fraud after she admitted faking the results of strength tests of steel used to make US Navy submarines. 

Elaine Marie Thomas, the former director of metallurgy at Bradken Inc., pleaded guilty in a recent court hearing, per an announcement from the Department of Justice.

* Sir David was treated at the scene by paramedics for more than an hour but later died, Essex Police said 

* Man, 25, was arrested at the scene and a knife was seized. The suspect is in custody and arrested over murder 

* Married father-of-five voted against gay marriage and abortion. He's survived by his wife Julia, his caseworker 

Conservative MP Sir David Amess has been murdered today after being stabbed 'multiple times' by a 25-year-old killer who sprinted into a church and knifed him to death during his weekly constituency surgery. 

The Tory MP for Southend West, 69, was meeting locals at the Belfairs Methodist Church, in Eastwood Road North, Leigh-on-Sea, when his attacker ran into the building wielding a knife before attacking the veteran politician at just after midday. 

Paramedics worked to save the politician on the floor of a Essex church for more than an hour but he could not be saved after the appalling attack with chilling similarities to the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox, who was shot and stabbed multiple times outside her constituency surgery at a local library in Birstall, West Yorkshire, in June 2016 by a right-wing terrorist.

U.S. Navy Hit By Another Multi-Million Dollar International Bribery Scandal

Navy defense contractor Frank Rafaraci is accused scamming the branch out of $50million. Among the schemes involved one in which he charged $231,000 for or 'port authority fees' to allow the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (pictured) to dock at Manama, the capital of Bahrain, in 2015

* US officials are trying to extradite Frank Rafaraci, CEO of Multinational Logistics Services from Malta on bribery and corruption charges 

 * As chief executive of MLS, Navy's largest foreign port contractor, he is accused of scamming the Navy out of $50million by overcharging for services 

* He is also accused of money laundering and bribing Navy officials for insider information on upcoming Naval contracts 

* Among the accusations was that he charged the Navy $231,000 for 'port authority' fees to allow the USS Carl Vinson to dock at Manama 

* Manama's port charged only $12,686 for the vessel to allow the vessel to dock 

* Rafaraci, a dual Italian-American citizen, is currently in Malta, where authorities have been struggling to extradite him 

The federal government is seeking to extradite a defense contractor to the US over allegations that he scammed the Navy out of roughly $50million by overcharging port fees. 

US authorities are seeking to have Frank Rafaraci, 68, chief executive of Multinational Logistics Services, or MLS, brought to the US from Malta, where he was arrested last week, and charged with overcharging for various services and bribing Navy officials for insider information, according to an arrest warrant viewed by the Washington Post.

Man Dressed As A Ninja And Armed With A Sword Attacked Special Ops Soldiers Training In The Mojave Desert

A sword-wielding man dressed as a ninja slashed a staff sergeant and attacked several special ops soldiers at an airfield forcing them to find shelter and call 911 for help.

* The strange incident took place at an airfield in the Mohave desert, according to a screengrab of a military incident report shared on Instagram and Reddit 

* Details from the report were corroborated by records from the Ridgecrest Police Department that confirmed two U.S. Army soldiers received stiches following the incident 

* The incident report says an 'unknown person wearing full ninja garb' armed with a sword with a curved blade appeared out of nowhere and questioned a staff sergeant 

* The man then slashed the soldier with his sword 'striking his phone and his knee and leg,' before the staff sergeant fled and hid in a building

* The ninja' then kicked and punched doors and windows and threw a block of asphalt through a building window, striking a captain inside the building 

* Following the bizarre encounter, the staff sergeant received stitches to his leg while the captain struck by the block received multiple stiches to his head 

* The Ridgecrest Police Department first logged a 911 call at 1:20 a.m. that stated there was one victim and a man 'with a sword' in the parking lot

The strange incident took place at 1 a.m. on September 18 at an airfield in the Mojave Desert, according to a screengrab of what appears to be a military incident report shared on Instagram and Reddit Wednesday, Stars and Stripes reported. 

Some details from the report, which was initially shared by Instagram meme page 'Daddy SOARbucks before appearing on Reddit, were later corroborated by Ridgecrest Police Department logs that indicated two U.S. Army soldiers needed stitches after the incident.
