President says China in an ‘unstable and uncertain’ security situation amid tensions over Taiwan Xi Jinping has told the People’s Liberation Army to “focus all its energy on fighting” in preparation for war, a Chinese Communist party mouthpiece has reported.
Pictures of Xi, who recently secured a third term as party leader, in his army uniform during a visit to a command centre featured prominently on the front page of the People’s Daily on Wednesday.

Adolph thought Russia was weak. He did not take into account that Russia had regenerated and had learned lessons from its war of aggression against Finland.

It is why i hate seeing a weak military or mealy mouthed politicians. It invites attack.
So here we are. Xi says prepare for war. Russian oil will flow from Siberia to China. Oil supply secured. so what are we going to due to China to strategically starve them of resources, so they cannot prosecute a war?
Maybe some lib wingnut in the Demoncrat party will suggest that the US nationalize manufacturing that was offshored, so we have the industrial muscle to take on China. Outside the box thinking by the smartest people in the room.
Countries like China, Russia, Iran, North Korea etc have not learned.
