I've a mate whose a manager at a Twitter office. He went through the whole 'Am I being let go' process and was told he's being kept on. Happy days, right?
Except... Most of his team is gone. This is a guy who once celebrated Musk's purchase. Who agreed that the platform needed an overhaul and it was strifling free speech. Now? He hates the toxic work culture coming in. He hates the fact that most of his team is gone and replaced with people he's told me don't have a clue about Twitter systems and he's being asked to train them?
So he's planning on leaving the cushy high paying job because he can see where things are going.
You may enjoy what you are reading, but lotta folks are losing their jobs and those who are staying have to put up with questionable work ethics .
