Ukraine Strips The Accreditation Of CNN And Sky News Journalists For Reporting From Kherson

People celebrate the liberation of Kherson from Russian occupation on November 12.

Radio Free Europe: Ukraine Revokes Some Journalist Accreditations Over Early Reports From Liberated Kherson

KYIV -- Ukrainian authorities have revoked the accreditations of several international journalists over their reporting from the city of Kherson in the early hours after it was liberated by Ukrainian armed forces from Russian troops over the weekend.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a statement on Facebook on November 13 that the move was made because some foreign news organizations violated regulations on reporting from combat zones.

"In recent days, multiple media reporters, ignoring existing bans and precautions that were in place, and without the approval of the relevant commanders and military units' public relations services, carried out reports from the city of Kherson before the completion of stabilization measures there.

Update #2: CNN and Sky News journalists stripped of their accreditation for reporting from Kherson (Ukrainska Pravda)

WNU editor: A friend of mine who reports on the war from the Ukraine side told me that these journalists went into Kherson without the military's approval. But what really irked the authorities was that the videos they took only showed 100 - 200 civilians going out to greet the Ukrainian forces when they entered the city. The mass majority of the residents stayed inside their homes. This ruined the media narrative of thousands showing up that they wanted.

Even Zelensky's visit to Kherson today did not result in large crowds of people going on the streets to greet him. This was a tightly controlled PR event, and the videos that were released showed mostly close-ups or the camera was positioned at ground level. Very few if any camera shots from above looking down and giving a wide angle view.

Can't show the secret recipe on how to make war crime accusations. They should have little GPS apps on their phones that only allow them into areas after the Georgian Legion has left the area. We need to Web 3.0 this operation like Uber.

1) The Russians deported many people.

2) Russian like to shell cities and hit them with missiles.

If it were me and I lived in Kherson, I would want to see Zelensky. However, if anyone in my family expressed such a desire, I would brow beat them to stay home if necessary. I figure the only reason to go out would to be work or procure food. Going to a large plaza and becoming the target of a bunch of psychos with missiles is not a good idea.

I think it's more likely that they don't want their equipment and units targeted bybgiving away coordinates from landmarks l8ke incompetent Russian journalists did.
Nothing to do with wanting a crowd shot

Any and all may be correct. But after what happened in Bucca .I do not think ukie gov wants press in certain areas. Sorry guys, it does not matter which side you are pulling for.... collaborators are always dealt with. Dont want the press seeing that.

^ Yup.

Why would anyone want to deliver themselves to a right wing death squad that'll kill them simply for continuing to work/teach under a Russian administration. At the very least you can make them come to your apartment themselves.

That is not what we are talking about.

We are talking about collaborators going Soros on other citizens and rounding them up.
