My Comment: World hunger is caused by a few greedy corporations taking advantage of the situation to make a few bucks. This thought is so idiotic that in typical "The Independent" thinking they have conveniently ignore the 800 lb gorilla in the room that is the main reason for food shortages and hunger. In every conflict or situation in which hunger and food shortages have become the norm, we see the hand of government involved ... not the hand of "greedy" corporations. If North Korea had Cargill and Archer Daniels running their food policy, my gut tells me that the people in that Communist Dictatorship will be fed tonight instead of going to bed hungry.
