My Comment: As long time readers of this blog know, I am very skeptical on Zimbabwe. There is so much blood on the hands of Robert Mugabe and his henchmen that any departure is unlikely. Mugabe may now be an old man, but his mind and other faculties are still working.

The public pressure from China and South Africa is new. Nelson Mandala's condemnation is also knew. The leaders of these countries are now being shamed into action .... as a result there is now some serious movement on the international level. But do not be fooled .... there is still a long way to go and more obstacles than what we can think of.
