Thousands of Nigerians have fled the Niger Delta oil town of Bonny after militants threatened to behead people who are not originally from the area.
The unknown group attacked soldiers in the town two weeks ago, killing nine people including a pregnant woman.
According to a newspaper article widely circulated by residents, the militants said they would return on July 16.

My Comment: If the oil was not there, the situation would still continue. There are so many numerous ethnic groups with animosities that go back decades if not centuries. The rush for oil wealth is just bringing these differences to the forefront now.

Digital Memory sure is becoming cheaper and cheaper and cheaper. I wonder when we will finally reach the rate of 1c to 1 Gigabyte.
I'm eagerly anticipating the day when I will finally be able to afford a 20 terabyte harddrive, lol. But for now I guess I will be content with having a 16 gigabyte Micro SD in my R4i.
